Skill-Based task assignment

In large organizations with a large number of people, assigning new tasks to individuals may be time-consuming for the managers of the complex, because numerous people with different skills are working in the complex. Such problems caused us to add skill-based task assignments to TaskBrowse.

Defining Skills in Basic Definitions

To assign tasks based on skills, it is necessary to first define the skills required to perform tasks in your organization. These skills vary according to your business. Refer to the basic definitions to define skills.

Assigning Skills to Users

After defining the necessary skills in the organization, it is time to assign these skills to users. For this purpose, refer to User Management and User Editing and specify the individual’s skills in the Skills section. To assign tasks more precisely, you can even specify the individual’s skill level. Note that it is also possible to define a new skill in this section, just type the skill title in the Skills section.

Assigning Skills to Tasks and Proposing a Team to the Task Manager

When defining a task and specifying its team, you’ll need to identify the required skills for the task and the level of proficiency for each skill. TaskBrowse will then display a list of individuals whose skills best align with the task requirements, helping you to select the most optimal team. For added convenience, TaskBrowse highlights the skill match for each person using different colors, making it easier to assess compatibility at a glance.
